About the event
I'll provide information on the history, meaning and uses of the plants including medicinal properties. Halfway, we'll stop for a snack and a drink. The food and drink will contain foraged ingredients you can find at this time of year. This will give you a taste of what is available and hopefully ignite your imagination on how to bring these ingredients into your life! Afterwards, I will provide you with an info sheet and recipes.
- You will need appropriate clothing and footwear.
- The walk is moderately accessible for most but is not suitable for anyone with an advanced disability.
- By signing up for this event you are agreeing to take responsibility for your own safety.
- You will be given clear instructions and guidelines about the plants we see.
- If you’re new to foraging – nibble first and see how you feel.
- However, what you decide to eat and the quantities are entirely your decision and responsibility.
- Any reactions you may have to what is eaten are not the responsibility of the guide.
